Leadership
Mathaba Senoamadi
CEO and Managing Director
Mathaba founded R&M to honour Remoratile and Mmonadilo, and leads the company as its Director. He grew up with the Bakone/Mokone traditions of Limpopo and Mpumalanga, and he built R&M on the idea that family comes first.
His career began in the South African Navy, where he trained in weapons engineering and learned to work with machinery safety, planned maintenance and strict operating procedures. He now works as a facilities and projects specialist for a large telecommunications company, managing sites, contractors, procurement and compliance across Gauteng and the northern provinces. He also leads business development at Thambisa Investment, an agricultural vegetable production company, and is completing a BSc in Computer Science.
He brings the same discipline to R&M: written procedures, clear prices, safe food and people who are trained and treated fairly.
How we grow
We start with the shisanyama, which keeps our kitchen busy and builds a name in the community. Catering follows, and then events, so that each family can use us for the whole day, from the food to the tent. We run on written procedures from the first day, so that quality stays the same as we grow.
